Federal home energy programs in Washington: status and dates
Federal Home Energy Rebates (HOMES and HARP) via WA Dept. of Commerce
federal rebate (state-run)
Status: not launched; in program operation preparation
Dates: No launch date
Commerce's timeline puts the program at 'Step 5: Program operation preparation' (Commerce and the rebate administrator are setting up delivery operations), before 'Step 6: Launch approval' from DOE. Commerce says DOE released updates to the program guidelines (program notices 26-1 and 26-2) on June 1, and that it is evaluating how these changes affect the program and working with its rebate administrator on next steps.
Not confirmed or worth knowing: Washington also has a separate state-run HEAR program that gives grants to local administrators; its page says households and small businesses at or below 150% of area median income, including renters, are eligible and that administrator contacts will be posted as contracts are finalized. Whether those rebates are open in your area was not confirmed. Source: https://www.commerce.wa.gov/energy/clean-buildings/energy-incentives/hear/
